We have jt in this super nice daycare, costs a tad more than average - but we like the attention he gets there. But, we are just a tad different…
Most of the other parents seem to be prepping their kids for kindergarten interviews etc (can you believe!!?!?!). Us? Well, we’re just there for him to have fun, and of course, our own fun…
So, school pics with Santa Claus this week and we had to sign a permission slip. On the slip was space for “special instructions”. Note: this is what happens when you have long commute - you can discuss the finer details of things. What instructions could possibly be put there? We decided we MUST have special instructions for JT.
Our Instructions were: “Please put JT’s finger in Santa’s nose.“
They didn’t do it, but when we got to school to pic him up, it was the talk of the school. That was better than any interview for us!! HAH!
We are already thinking about our “special instructions” for the Easter Bunny…. Let’s just say - i dont think we’ll need to spend any money on a special outfit for this pic…

Where does the time go? It seems time is flying by now-a-days. It seems like yesterday that we brought home our little baby and now he is little boy that is starting to have a mind of his own.
Jt is amazing. He has habits and little things that I can’t figure out where he got them. He is growing and developing so fast. Everyday is something new from him. Yesterday he started to have a giggle that I have never heard before. Where did he learn that from? We don’t giggle like that. He is starting to become more aware of the world around him. I put him in his baby Bejorne(sp) and carried him out the woods behind our house. He was so quite and noticed dogs barking over the hill. He also noticed hickory nuts that squirrels were cutting on. He never noticed little things like that. I think he is so amazing and such a blessing. I thank God for him. Sometimes I don’t feel like I deserve him. I thank God for Kim as well. She is such a good mother and a good wife. She plays with JT and such an attentive mother. I am the luckiest man alive.

If there was Olympic Gold to be had in the army crawl, my son would be belly down on the podium to collect his gold medal!!
He is faster than a speeding order at McDonalds, more powerful than the smell of a roadkill Possum on a hot summer day, able to fly across the floor faster than Kim going through the channels to the Amazing Race. He is the one, the only(so far) JT SILER! Man, that little fella can move now. I don’t think he will ever find the motivation to walk now that he has that crawl down. He moves his arms and wiggles his legs to get about anywhere and into anything that is on his level. He is moving so much that he is developing calouses on his knees. I am learning not to turn my back to him to long because one second he is there and the next he is into something he knows he ain’t suppose to be. How does a 7 month know, you may ask? By the glint in his eye and the little smirk on his face. He is in it and all you can say is, “No, no, no!!” His nickname will be Flash. Now how can we turn this into a profitable future in the NFL???

“I dont want to get mugged, I’m going to be carrying a kitchen faucet. They kill little old ladies for less than that.”
— kim’s mom, after hearing she had to take the train from the airport when she arrives in atlanta next week (kim was in tears laughing after hearing this)

We dropped JT off at school this morning and within the 4minutes we were there - he went over and grabbed the toy that was in the hand of TWO DIFFERENT babies. HE’S A BULLY!!!!!!
Note to self: Teach JT how to SHARE NICELY - regardless if he’s only 7mo old!!!
