Water Boy

We officially call this the summer of water for JT - without any swimming lessons and really not much from us - he’s practically swimming on his own - it’s really beautiful. The outdoor pool at the YMCA closes officially for the Summer on Labor Day - so Barry had the idea of going to get a cheap underwater camera and getting some photos of all JT’s skills. Though the camera was a $10 cheapy from the drugstore and pics may be a bit grainy - they are insanely beautiful (at least we think - we are a tad bias though).

It is HOT. Unbearably, sticky, yucky, HOT!!!

JT and Daddy went to TN for the weekend to see Mammy and Pap. I stayed behind at home alone; something about sitting in car for 4hrs one-way after all the nonsense with my back recently was just very unappealing. I have to admit though, after getting a call from Daddy about how much fun their having and hearing about JT’s excitement when he woke at 6:45 this morning to go feed the chickens, and rabbits, and horse … I’m a tad jealous. I’m glad their having fun.

It has been very quiet being home alone. I’ve cleaned the kitchen, I have taken out every shelf in the fridge and cleaned it, started laundry, picked up the house, updated our Flickr photos, and set my mom up on MySpace so she can keep up-to-date on all her nieces and nephews. Now what do I do? It is just too hot to go outside. Tomorrow I’ll get to go to the YMCA and workout but … I miss my boys!!!
